Bug Description

Opening Ubuntu One Control Panel, "I already have an account", entering my data (I'm sure it's correct), "please wait while your data is processed"... the little wheel freezes, nothing more happens.
This time, I start from the console:
<pre>$ ubuntuone-control-panel-gtk
ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on com.ubuntu.sso:/com/ubuntu/sso/credentials: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

The panel shows an error message: "loading the certificates failed" (+/- translation from German).

Hello!

Would you please let me know if you are you behind a proxy? If so, would you please provide the proxy details? (type, auth, etc).

Thanks!

Yes, there is a proxy. It's the same for all ports (and I set it that way in the proxy page), no authentification required.
However, the problem also occurs from othe places where there's no proxy.

@Kalsan,

By looking at the bug report you are using the gtk control panel which is deprecated and does not provide proxy support. May I have the following details:

OS Version: Oneiric, Precise etc..
Control panel version: ubuntuone-control-panel-gtk or ubuntuone-control-panel-qt
Proxy details:
    Type of auth
Software: ISA, squid etc.. (if you know it)

If you want to have proxy support and you are not yet on P you will have to either update to the P Beta (which I know not everyone can do) or wait for the next release.

If you do update (or have a vm with P to test with) I would really appreciate to get input from your regarding this issue.

I'm sorry I'm not an expert in such things. I'm using the current version of Zorin OS: http://zorin-os.com/
I'd love to provide more infos, but I don't know how to proceed. How do I find out the details about:
 - Package versions
 - Proxy?
What do you mean with "P"?
Cheers,
Kalsan
