Perhaps someone could tell me what services Gnome-Do's Rhythmbox plugin actually relies on (i.e. how does the message get through - DBus?)

Something which didn't come through in the original report is that I'm running within a Lubuntu desktop session (although on a fully installed Ubuntu machine). I'm guessing that Lubuntu doesn't by default launch whatever bus service Gnome-Do's Rhythmbox plugin needs in order to talk to Rhythmbox.

If I knew which specific package need to be running, then I can look into activating it. As it is we have a case of 'silent failure' and no idea what's missing.
