12.04 ubuntu beta 1 black screen

After grub i have black screen
if i press after 1min when all loaded TTY1 and CTRL+ALT+DEL to reboot then it blinks for 1/20th of sec logo of OS as shutting down.
i have this since 11.04 bug 889586

Hmm, nothing obvious in the logs.

I see this is a fresh install of Ubuntu. Was it working properly in the installer and/or livecd environment?

Have you had other versions of Ubuntu installed on the system previously?

This is happening to me since today after applying the latest updates. I updated 5 days ago so the bug is between the last 5 days and today. It shows like this. After doing the complete update process I reboot it and after the login screen (lightdm) I get a black screen. If I press CTRL+ALT+BCKSPC I can see the icons of the Desktop for a split second, similar to eye blinking and then I am back in the lightdm login screen.

The only way I am writing this is from the guest session. I can't use the account from where I did the upgrade or another account for work. Only the guest session.

My hardware is a HP DV6000 Laptop with an Intel video card.

Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller

CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T5500 @ 1.66GHz
