[Original Report]Select (in 10.04) the System -> Preferences -> Startup Applications... menu choice. Then click the Options tab and notice the "Remember Currently Running Application" button. The button has a typo, it should say "Applications" (plural) because all running applications are remembered.

Ok. I found the right package for this bug.

Also, it looks like a good bunch (majority?) of the translations have to be updated for this, too. I'll work on the English version. I'll see about the other languages (might just add an 's' at the end to make the translations plural)

When you have made the fix can you please update here and also propose the merge from your branch.

The problem with this is that a good majority of the translations need
to be updated. That's why I haven't really done anything here. Unless
you want me to propose merging with just English.

Sincerely,
kroq-gar78

hi kroq-gar78,

the fix you committed should be sufficient (fix the source of the typo), and if merged will be propagated through the translations. As such, I hope you don't mind, I went ahead and proposed that your branch be merged, since the fix seems legit.

Thanks for the attention to detail! I forwarded this bug upstream: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=676775

This isn't important enough to warrant a delta with upstream (especially since we don't even show that part of the UI anymore). But hopefully upstream will take the patch. So I'll mark won't fix on the Ubuntu side, but I do agree that this is a bug and it should be fixed upstream!
