Bug Description

Binary package hint: mythtv

When installing mythtv from packages the automatically created mythtv user is not added to the dialout group. This prevents the external channel changing commands from working until this user is added to the proper group. This can be very confusing when you are following the mythtv setup instructions from the wiki, it doesn't explicitly state that that user used to run the backend service needs to be part of that group.
