version:
from Software Center: synaptic 0.75.2ubuntu8
Help -> About says: synaptic 0.75.2ubuntu7

steps to reproduce:
1) open synaptic
2) select any installed package
3) select "Mark for Complete Removal" from drop-down
4) select "Mark for Removal"

what expected:
 "Mark for Removal" to be selected for that package

what happens:
 synaptic refreshes, but package remains selected as "Mark for Complete Removal".

(vise-versa is also true.) <--wrong

Or maybe not. Seems I can select "Mark for Complete Removal" after selecting "Mark for Removal".

Yes, selecting Mark for Complete Removal after already selecting Mark for Removal does work correctly.

The bug is that after selecting Mark for Complete Removal, selecting Mark for Removal does nothing (the status remains at Mark for Complete Removal, in other words).
