This started occurring after upgrading from oneiric to precise (amd64) and then trying to follow the instructions here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CitrixICAClientHowTo#A64-bit

something went horribly wrong with the i386 dependancies.

apt-get install -f fails
aptitude tried to apply some fixes, and removed a pile of i386 packages

now just this error and a similar one for libatk

I did the exact same thing. Aptitude complained about multiple i386 packages so I had it remove them.

the main problem i've got that this is my machine at work. so I need skype and since the version 11.04 had some starting-hickups as well i'm kinda pushed towards debian what i personal like as a server but not for local development.
