Bug Description
i installed 7.04 and allowed a key-ring using connection to the network. then i realized that this makes me type in my password twice for each login (login and keyring) and - my security requirements here are low - i wanted to switch to a static configuration for my (wireless) network. i cannot do it. the static network configuration (using the GUI) is correct (done multiple times, the same as in the keyring based one), but it is not used.
what information do you need to identify the problem?
(this may be a duplicate of 87941 or 90075)
thank you

i reinstalled 7.04 and this is still not possible. i cannot have a static configuration of a wireless network with a key in the configuration. - it always goes to the keyring, which needs typing in a password.
what infor can i provide to help you trace the bug?
