Hotkeys for start, stop and pause

Kazam is really great! However, I would like to have a hotkey to pause and continue the recording.

Additional hotkeys to start and finish the recording would be nice as well, but it's the pause key I am missing most. I don't want to use the mouse to pause the recording because then the mouse position is lost. In the video, the mouse will jump when I resume the recording.

Hotkeys were present in previous, Gtk2 releases. Implemented with python-keybinder which is currently only Gtk2 and it can't be mixed with Gtk3.

I'll look into Xlib/X11, but I am not too keen on doing this on such a low level, the chance to trample over Gnome global hotkeys are quite high.

Unfortunately Xlib cannot be used together with Gtk+, so Xlib can't be used directly. Python introspection for Gtk+ is currently in the broken state. I'm trying to figure out why is it so and what can be done to fix it. Until then, no shortcuts. :(

Another update on this subject. I am currently at dead-stop until one of this happens:

- someone implements gdk_window_add/remove_filter() functions so that they are introspectable and available in python
- someone ports python-keybinder to Gtk3
- GStreamer 1.0 is realeased with working introspection

For the sake of bug #655602 I'd like to wait until GStreamer 1.0, but I'll see how long this will take.

Next unstable release will have support for keyboard shortcuts. Keybinder-3.0 will be included in the PPA. Dependencies for Kazam will be fixed so that keybinder will install automatically from the PPA.

Got here from askubuntu. I thought Kazam was dead but what do I find? It is really alive and doing very well indeed. The key combination would really be useful for video tutorial recording.
