Bug Description

The welcome screen shouldn't offer to play a DVD if I don't have one inserted in the drive.

In this case I would say hide. The device may not have an optical drive and that option would never make sense or have the ability to be enabled for that device.

Should be working now, but I'm not sure if the drive's name string always includes "DVD" in it, so in case it doesn't work for you please reopen.

I use Ubuntu 13.04, and I still see this annoying entry >_<

Why don't you check if /dev/cdrom exists , and if it does ONLY than show it?
