Bug Description

After the upgrade to 12.04 the right-click menu item "paste" is grayed out. This after an item or items have been selected for copying.
It is not possible to paste.... This does not seem to be a permission issue as Ctrl+V still works...

Hi, while this bug is mentioned in the linked "duplicate" bug, the behaviors described in the main body of the bug are different. I don't know whether that merits keeping this open, but it's certainly confusing to have a duplicate that involves completely different behavior, especially since that duplicate is supposedly "expired".
