Bug Description
I tried installing Kubuntu 11.10 with the alternate install CD.
Everything went well at first including detecting and partitioning the hard disks.
After that I received the following error message:
No installable kernel was found in the defined APT sources.
I continued without the kernel but later, during the installation of the base system, another error message appeared and that step failed too.
I tried going back several times, but nothing changed.
Basically I couldn't install Kubuntu 11.10 from the alternate CD.

I saved the install logs. Here is the syslog, maybe it could be used to debug the problem.
Let me know if you want some of the others.
