Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

VarLogDistupgradeTermlog looks corrupt to me. For example, line 5445 has come out of line 5429. It looks like gzip has errored during compression. I may be mistaken but I think this has probably been caused by faulty hardware. As such I'm marking the bug as Invalid, but please do comment and reopen if you disagree.
