gimp hangs after saving an image

I use gimp to resize an image, then I do file > save a copy, enter a new name, enter the quality info, etc, and it saves, but the dialog with the progress bar hangs afterward.

This happens every time.

I'm sorry that nobody has cared about your bug yet. I can't reproduce this bug with Ubuntu 13.04.
