black background layout

I noticed that the client Xibo (Ubuntu 10.04 / Xibo 1.2) reveals an black background of 1 to 2 seconds at the end of its list of media (after the last of the layout). Is there a way to disappear to the background?
In the logs we see that the client regenerates the complete code at the end of the layout, is that what explains the few seconds before resuming at the beginning of the layout?
You have an explanation of this behavior?

When the longest running region expires, the entire layout will be re-rendered. The length of time that takes depends entirely on what's on the layout and your hardware speed.

What you describe sounds normal to me.
