This bug was fixed in the package owncloud - 4.0.3debian-1

---------------
owncloud (4.0.3debian-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * New upstream bugfix release.
  * debian/config/lighttpd, debian/owncloud.examples: add and install
    lighttpd example config file.
  * debian/patches:
    - Updated 05_no_app_store.diff for new upstream and also to also take
      the new "writable_appsdir" option into account.

owncloud now supports lighttpd; I'm keeping the bug open in case nginx support would get added.

You can close this bug as it at least for Raring includes nginx.

owncloud depends on apache | httpd
httpd depends on ... | nginx-extras, nginx-full, nginx-light, nginx-naxsi, nginx-naxsi-ui | ...

That plus the config file from below gives a working Owncloud on Raring.
