Bug Description
When the DISPLAY is not set in the env, or one cannot be accessed, Gtk throws an error:
Gtk couldn't be initialized
This error could be caught and an helpful warning could be shown to suggest that DISPLAY must be set and maybe X forwarding must enabled to on a headless machine.
