Bug Description

https://apps.ubuntu.com/cat/applications/oneiric/multiwinia/

This text is actually not always true, Multiwinia is available for Mac and Windows and it is misleading to indicate or make claims on behalf of the app developer.

Cool - I like the purchase and free buttons. I'm not sure about the download ubuntu button:

It seems a bit out of context there next to the app, and would perhaps belong elsewhere on the page (ie. where there's space to say "Haven't tried Ubuntu? [[Download Ubuntu graphic/link]]"). But if it's something you've already discussed in a pre-imp. with someone, no probs.

So, regarding *this* actual bug :-), I agree with removing the text completely when a non-Ubuntu (or unknown) OS version is being used.

But I'm assuming this functionality was intended for the situation when we *know* that the user is browsing with Ubuntu Lucid and the title is available for Oneiric, in which case saying "[title] is not available for your version of Ubuntu" would be helpful.

I don't care either way, I'm just guessing this was functionality that was requested with an older bug/feature, and think it should be explicitly decided before we remove it not just for unknown/other OSs, but also for Ubuntu OSs.
