Bug Description

Gnome Shell always crashes (on my Ubuntu 11.10) when I try to search anything with the search box of the dash.
This wasn't happening before, when I installed it.

What I mean with "crashes", is that suddenly all my desktop disappears (except the wallpaper). Then, after 2 or 3 seconds, g.shell restarts itself and all the applications I had opened reappears.

I have exactly same problem. Starded after gnome-shell update to version 3.2.2.1-0ubuntu0.1

Weird is that "search crash" is affected by some symbols. Eg. searching "syn" for synaptic package manager is fine. But most of searches results into Gnome 3 panel restart.

#2 But in my case, gnome shell restarts with any character. For example, searching Winff; with only "wi" gnome restarts.
