Bug Description
Error encountered upon installation process of either Kalzium, Step and possibly all applications by KDE-EDU.
Error says:
Failed to download package files
Please check your internet connection
Failed to fetch http://
Same error shows when using either Software Center or Synaptics.
Frensh install of Ubuntu 11.10 64bit here.

Did you try checking for updates and retrying the installation? You could just have an out-of-date cache.
