compiz fails to set keyboard shortcuts using the control button.

After today's update attempting to set a keyboard shortcut in compiz using the control button doesn't work. Using the graphic , or capturing a shortcut replaces <control><button>button with <primary><button>button. The resulting shortcut doesn't work. I tried both control buttons, same result. see attached screenshot.
