Bug Description

1)

Description: Ubuntu precise (development branch)
Release: 12.04

2)

indicator-messages:
  Installed: 0.5.92-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 0.5.92-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 0.5.92-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

3)

I expect evolution to be set as default e-mail client when evolution is set to default client in system-settings -> details -> default applications.

4)

Instead thunderbird is set as default client in the indicator-messages menu.

5)

additional info.

If I write: mailto:<email address hidden> in Firefox, evo composer is launched, meaning the rest of the system handle evolution as default e-mail client.

Confirmed. Composing a new message from the message menu will open Thunderbirds composer regardless of what email client is set as default.

This is slightly annoying when using the HUD, since you then can't benefit from the indicators the way you're supposed to.
