notification icon of akregator doesn't show unread feed

when launch akregator notification icon appears on the panel but it doesn't show the number or unread feeds. If i launch "fetch all feeds" from the icon the icon disappears if there are some unread feeds

This works fine in precise with kde 4.8

i'm using Ubuntu Oneiric 11.10 with unity DE. The version of Akregator that i installed from software center is 4.7.4

i installed the alpha 2 version of precise pangolin and there is the same problem with akregator.

I think that there is a problem with the panel
