rhythmbox plays a song or two then freeze

. I have to close the whole application before I can open and use again where after it logs out crashes or just freeze after a few songs restarted and shut down my pc to no avail

add me to the heap. if i'm doing anything besides rhythmbox, i get pause/hang. this on a new desktop with 3 amd processors and 8gb memory.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
