Bug Description

Please sync modestmaps-py 1.3.1-1 (universe) from Debian testing (main)

Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception:
This version of modestmaps-py is a required dependency of tilestache, his only
rdepends (according to apt-cache). Without it, it fails to install:
(Precise)fabrice@fabrice-desktop:/tmp$ sudo apt-get install tilestache
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
tilestache : Depends: python-modestmaps (>= 1.3.0) but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: python-mapnik2 but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

This package builds and install fine in a precise chroot:
(Precise)fabrice@fabrice-desktop:/tmp$ sudo dpkg -i python-modestmaps_1.3.1-1_all.deb
Selecting previously unselected package python-modestmaps.
(Reading database ... 41716 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking python-modestmaps (from python-modestmaps_1.3.1-1_all.deb) ...
Setting up python-modestmaps (1.3.1-1) ...
(Precise)fabrice@fabrice-desktop:/tmp$

Once installed, tilestache can be installed:
(Precise)fabrice@fabrice-desktop:/tmp$ sudo apt-get install tilestache
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  tilestache
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 0 B/130 kB of archives.
After this operation, 674 kB of additional disk space will be used.
Selecting previously unselected package tilestache.
(Reading database ... 42703 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking tilestache (from .../tilestache_1.21.3-1ubuntu1_all.deb) ...
Processing triggers for man-db ...
Setting up tilestache (1.21.3-1ubuntu1) ...
(Precise)fabrice@fabrice-desktop:/tmp$

All commands run fine (tilestache-server, tilestache-render, tilestache-seed),
so this package can be synced from Debian safely.

Thanks,
Fabrice
