Bug Description

After starting Eclipse for the first time, you have to select/create workspace. When creating new workspace, you land on on "welocome page" in eclispe. When I try to close welcome page, eclispe crashes with:

System: Ubuntu precise, freshly updated (feb. 23. 2012)
uname -a: Linux orech 3.2.0-17-generic #26-Ubuntu SMP Fri Feb 17 21:35:49 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Next run of eclipse is ok (it bypasses welcome page and lands directly on workbench).
