totem-audio-preview apparently kills itself

totem-audio-preview claims to play the audio stream of a video:

    jeff@london:~ $ totem-audio-preview --help
    Usage:
      totem-audio-preview [OPTION…] Plays audio passed on the standard input or the filename passed on the command-line

    Help Options:
      -h, --help Show help options
      --help-all Show all help options
      --help-gst Show GStreamer Options

    Application Options:
      -m, --mimetype List the supported mime-types
      --g-fatal-warnings Make all warnings fatal

But it actually plays the first minute or so and then kills itself:

strace suggests that it's doing the kill itself:

The bug is (preferably) that it should play the full audio stream in the absence of a flag specifying what amount to play, or, failing that, that the help text is manifestly incorrect. In the latter case, this is also a wishlist item that it should be able to play a configurable amount of the stream, including the entire stream.

I tried to reproduce with totem 3.4.3 but haven't been able to do it. Please feel free to reopen the report if you are still seeing this issue with current versions of Totem.
