The UI is using the GXP library to create a data view grid in the souther area of the UI. The grid is rendering the data very poorly. Because of this I would like to create a GeoEXT grid view instead to improve the performance.

It seems that that improvements can not be made on the JS side and to use a GeoEXT grid will not increase performance.
