Bug Description

The current version of PortMidi included in Ubuntu is 20041117 while on the mainstream web site[1] we can see that there's a version released on 20070117, a huge difference. Can you please upgrade PortMidi?
Thank you.

By the way, while you are at it, upgrading it, can you test that the issue #93728 is solved?

A new version, 1:131-1, has been uploaded to Debian on 19 September.

The package will be automatically synced into lucid (Ubuntu 10.04). Therefore I set the status to invalid. If you want to have the package in karmic, you need a FFe. In this case reopen the bug report and follow the freeze exception process: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess#FeatureFreeze%20for%20new%20packages
