Crash on Fedora 16: "AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get_bool'

Bug Description

I packaged Polly for Fedora. Revision 385 and 504 keep crashing.

It seems that the package is not installing the gconf schemas properly, please check this.

Also, please do not package neither lp:~conscioususer/polly/unstable (outdated) nor lp:~conscioususer/polly/gtk3 (not usable at all). Please package lp:~conscioususer/polly/backport.

I get the same trace with Polly 0.93.4, installed from tarball, on Fedora 16 as well.

I got the same error on openSUSE 12.1 with a build from the openSUSE Build Service (0.93.4). Running Polly again seemed to work, but as it was command-line output then I didn't see it at first.

@IBBoard, the error is likely caused by the gconf daemon not restarting during install, and thus not picking up the new schemas.
