Bug Description

Although OpenERP permits you to install modules as zip files, support_branding can't work in zip form (I don't know why).

good to hear that you like it! With regards to the bug, it might be a general thing with web addons in zip format in OpenERP. As the client does not support the upload of zip files anymore, this is going to have a lot less impact than it would in OpenERP 6.0. I am setting this to won't fix and I hope you'll understand.

No problem. I don't recall this being documented, however. If OpenERP no
longer permits zip modules, that would do it.
