Bug Description

Distrib: Ubuntu 11.10
uname:
Linux U56E 3.0.0-16-generic #28-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 27 17:44:39 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I am running gnome 3.2 and I am quite happy with it, recently I noted when running gnome-shell session, default panels of unity desktop also show under the gnome panel. It is visible when I used a semi transparent gnome shell theme. It almost appears as if two desktop managers/shells are running one on top of another.

Screen shot attached shows the behavior, look at top right corner near "Activities" section. It clearly shows the default unity menu undeneath.
