p.s. Thank you SO MUCH for this app. I have been looking for a light, tabbed, pdf viewer for a while. You're awesome.

The problem is that qpdfview assumes an icon theme using the freedesktop.org icon naming specification to be present. So a stopgap measure for an Arch user would be to install an icon theme like gnome-icon-theme ( http:// www.archlinux. org/packages/ extra/any/ gnome-icon- theme/ ). I should probably add that as an optional dependency (because someone could choose to use a different icon theme) to the PKGBUILD.
Of course, I will give those buttons some simple text description as a fallback if you don't feel like installing an icon theme just to use a PDF viewer. You should soon be able to test those fixes using qpdfview-bzr ( https:/ /aur.archlinux. org/packages. php?ID= 56485 ) which fetches the current source from trunk because it will probably take some time until this and other smaller changes will yield another release. ( I have to admit that I expect several such mistakes by assumption to have been made.)
