update 3 for Java 7 is available since the 15th of February.

also some security issues are affected, beside a long list of common fixes.

A update for Ubuntu11.10 and Ubuntu12.04 would be recommend.

I see that this has been rolled out to 12.04.

Shouldn't this still be backported to the releases still seeing security updates? It's great that it's in 12.04, but that's not yet released.
