Bug Description

Bluetooth doesn't work correctly on my system however it's works fine in Windows 7 on this same machine.

When I'm using it, it always crashes my computer. This happened many times just after (or moment later) when I send my files to a mobile phone or even when I only try to connect to it!

I tried to send files to another mobile phone, but the effect is the same. I also tried to use it on guest account, but it still doesn't work correctly - although I received something about 10% of the all sent files (on my account too), however after that my computer just frozen so imagine how much effort it costs to send all files.

If any other information is needed to find the solution of this problem, please contact with me.

Regards
~W. Chojnacki <aka Sky(Man)>

A chronological description of the performed steps:
1. Connect bluetooth device to PC.
2. Send 1 file (image) to phone (SUCCESS). Everything seems good for now.
3. Send another file (image) to phone (FAILURE). Desktop and all windows just freeze (don't respond to any action), however I still can move my mouse.
4. Manual reset.
5. Send 1 file from phone to PC (FAILURE). Desktop, all windows and mouse just freeze and I can't do anything.
6. Manual reset.
7. On PC select "Add device" from bluetooth app indicator (FAILURE). After few seconds the problem described in 5. .
8. Manual reset.

It seems that just after moment some bluetooth driver causes O.S. freeze. On Win7 works fine.
If you find any solution I would like to hear about it.

Regeards ~Sky

On Ubuntu 12.04 (final beta) is even worse. After trying to connect to my phone, computer is freezes and the screen starts to blinking for a brief moment. It looks like the X-window server is closing, because window frames are rapidly disappearing and then I see only black screen. However the computer is still running and I don't see shutdown screen.

Please, try to fix this f*cking and annoying bug.

There are other errors in syslog:

I think this might be due to an issue in ecryptfs triggered when the file is received.

The best thing to do would be to test this on 12.04 using a LiveCD and see if the issue can be reproduced there.
