Bug Description
After switching to GNOME 3, 'gnome-desktop' source package becomes more and more useless.
It should be totally replaced by 'gnome-desktop3' and removed from Oneiric, Precise and following releases.

thank you for your bug report, we mostly follow Debian's lead there and there is still a need for the gtk2 version for a while since not applications out there have not been ported to gtk3 yet
