Bug Description

Each time i get an flashplugin-installer package upgrade, the process ask twice for the licence approval:
- at the very beginning when the package upgrade start
- later when the installation is really made.

This a quite old bug as it have been reported earlier ( bug #130030 ) but never got real attention: the installer seems to not verify if an old .so exist and dont remove it in case of a previous installation. The installer needs to clean the room.

Have reproduce the steps again:
- via synaptic: purged the actual flashplugin-installer
- then cleaned the .so left behind:

oem@oem-desktop:~$ sudo rm /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
[sudo] password for oem:
oem@oem-desktop:~$ sudo rm /usr/lib/firefox-addons/plugins/libf*

- install flash again via synaptic

and again i'm asked twice for dir & licence.

More comments:

- case : Oneiric i386
both flashplugin-installer & flashplugin-downloader was installed. Synaptic have proposed an update for flashplugin-installer: does not been asked for licence.

- case : Precise i386
purge again flashplugin-installer as flasplugin-downloader was not installed. Then install them both: but strangely got again been asked twice for licence.

As the flashplugin-downloader description says:
This package is a transitional package that can safely be removed after you installed flashplugin-installer.

it seems that something need to be cleaned.
