Bug Description
RAW files are left on the card after an import. When raw files are manually copied to a directory that Shotwell listens to, the files are recognized and added to the repository. At this time shotwell add these files as doubles, the JPEG file and the RAW-files as two seperate photographs and creates a new event at the same day.
I have tested Shotwell with Panasonic Lumix G3 and reading the SD-card directly.

Hi Anders,
Thank you for reporting this. I believe what you're experiencing is a problem that results from an interaction between some cameras and gPhoto, a common Linux library Shotwell uses to access digital cameras.
It looks like this bug has been filed and patched in libgphoto2. You can read more about that here:
http:// sourceforge. net/tracker/ index.php? func=detail& aid=3445503& group_id= 8874&atid= 108874
Please download the latest version of libgphoto2-2.4.12. That should resolve the issue. Otherwise, a common workaround for this problem is to simply insert your SD card directly into the computer.
