In Ubuntu precise rtorrent does not work...

port_range = 6890-6999

$ rtorrent
rtorrent: Could not open/bind port for listening: Address family not supported by protocol

Any updates on this bug? I have the same problem and can't start rtorrent. Is there a workaround? I have Ubuntu Precise 12.04.1 LTS
