I had updated to current version and still received errors, from looking
on Google, I came to the conclusion that the sources.list had not update
properly, so I had to go in manually and edit it myself.

Thanks for the reply.

@brandon: you still recived the same error? Or a new one? Does that crash happens for you on every update?

Thanks,
 Michael

the error referred to you doesnt happen anymore after i manually edit
sources.list myself, since fiesty hadn't removed some of the edgy debs
from the list. the only major annoyance i recieve thus far is certain
system notification text does not properly show up now. Like keyring
manager, it popups at startup but i does not display any text of
anything, just a white text area where i put my password in to connect
to the net. it also does it in some cases on update manager, and
others, whenever a popup notification comes up. it's confusing to me,
since i am a linux n00b, and im working on my understanding of all
things within the system.
