Bug Description

When carrying out a live persistent USB key live test on my PC, the live session will not start, I've been waiting for more than 25 minutes.
Pressing F1 when the ubuntu white word is in the center of the purple screen I can see these messages on the screen:
/init: line7: can't open /dev/sdb: No medium found
This line is repeated twice for these devices:
/dev/sdb
/dev/sdc
/dev/sdd
/dev/sde
/dev/sr0
after the block of device errors I get:
stdin: error 0

This continuesly repeats for at least 25-30 minutes.
After this period I decide to give up and shutdown my PC.

The hardware were I tested the iso http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lucid/daily-live/20120214.2/lucid-desktop-amd64.iso is: http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/CarlaSella/lshw.
