Long names and the session menu icon overlap

On the login screen, my name shows as "Christopher Kyle Horton". This is long enough to run under the session menu icon so the two overlap each other, and it looks ugly.

It would be nice if the login box could resize to accommodate longer names, or if the old fading effect used on the end of longer names was added back in, or something similar.

This is still an issue even after getting the updates for the new session selector design.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

This is no longer an issue for me; it looks like fading at the end of the name has been reimplemented.
