Bug Description
I noticed it this weekend, was running htop and found nm-applet with a 700M resident memory footprint. Cycled it, and a few hours later it was back at around 400M (for the record, this made nm-applet the first in the list of memory hogs in my system, winning over Thunderbird, Firefox and Chromium!).
I then run nm-applet under Valgrind, and let it run for about 40 minutes (see attached valgrind log).
