Bug Description

pulseaudio issue regarding Ubuntu precise (development branch)

i have to remove the .pulse folder and restart pulseaudio completely or it won't show my normal sound card. i have to repeat this procedure to get sound working. so it detects my soundcard but only if i reset it manually. (see related question)

with the recent upgrade ubuntu rolled out a new pulseaudio and the sound settings dialog changed. my workaround does NOT work anymore. so far the soundcard did not get recognized (each reboot again) until i restarted all pulseaudio daemons or user-processes. i do not have sound now. could you please fix the way pulseaudio finds or does not find the normal built in sound card? i do not care if it shows my hdmi whatever device as the only soundcard because i don't use it. i want my headphone/speakers to play the sound just as every normal configuration should.
