Bug Description

I had removed my second monitor and went to suspend my computer, only to find out that this was an incredibly difficult task to perform: The session indicator would flip out through the other menus when I moved the mouse at all but would remain static on whatever random other indicator it was opening when I kept the mouse still. This has only happened a few times over the past month, it's pretty rare.

Difficult to explain, so please see the attached video as that's all that's really needed for understanding the symptom.

I am using an Nvidia card with the proprietary drivers (290.10, post-release updates channel). Though I don't think that has any bearing on the issue. Also, in the video I am using a wacom tablet as my input so the times when my mouse is completely still are rare (though they do happen a few times).

After a bit more tinkering with it only the user menu and session/power menu are flipping out while the others stay perfectly normal.

Actually the right half of the calendar indicator is affected while the left half is not. So there's a proximity of failure in this bug.

I'm going to set to incomplete because I haven't tested on Precise and it may be fixed, and it's difficult for me to reproduce. If anyone else has this issue, please reopen this report. I'll come back and reopen it if I see this problem on Precise final.
