Thunderbird 9+10: IMAP Draft-> No Reply Flag Update!!

Bug Description
Okay: When you reply to a message and send off the reply right away, then the status of the original message gets updated from read to replied.
If I compose a reply message and have it sent later, it delays in the update..
If I compose a reply message and then save it as a draft, delete the yet still open? draft message (simulation, I am coming back later to finish the reponse mail) and then send the reply off, it does NOT update the original to "replied" at once or ever..
I have checked it with imapfilter to only copy answered mails, at it seems that Thunderbird updates if at all way too late the status in the original mail.
As a test I went to Ubuntu Evolution and there even after the draft, the original was updated right along whent he reply was sent away ...
PLEASE FIX. It is important to see which messages when have really been replied.
