Bug Description

When I changed the compiz setting parameter, Unity crashed. I was just changing from Desktop wall to cube. In order to change, I had to disable wall first as there were some overlapping features between them. The system seems to be slow after that. I got the ubuntu panel back after resetting it but still the window's sizing is messed up. I now can't minimize or maximize when i double click the title bar for some programs (Rstudio).

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

It just crashed at start, no error message at all, how would I know if the error was graphical?
