Bug Description

When using the latest compiz build (new ABI), unity is unusable on the fglrx driver. Everywhere black rectangles block the view and neither the panel or the launcher are visible.

No fix has been committed to compiz-core as far as I know.

Is this what you're talking about??

I don't understand this bug. Why is it such a big issue in 0.9.7.0-beta1 testing but invalid in compiz-core? Is it caused by something downstream?
