Bug Description

To allow for visualization, add the Geodedic strain sample data (from Graeme) to Sandbox DB.
Then expose the table to Geoserver
Then activate the layer in the 'explor_basic' UI
This should be used as a brainstorming tool for the development of a workflow/spec for the Geodedic UI
