"unity --reset" gets stuck

I was trying to reset Unity after making some changes into Compiz Config Settings Manager (CMD: unity --reset). That never completed and I had to hard reboot my system to regain control.

thanks for the bug report. this was a known issue and have been fixed in precise in bug 919132
